Budget Vision for Sedgwick Elementary School

1. Strengthen Community Connections & Enrollment
We will fund community events, outreach materials, and partnerships with local organizations. A small discretionary fund will support community-based projects, including garden initiatives.

2. Support for Staff and Students
We will maintain strong staffing, provide professional development, expand special education support, and strengthen MTSS interventions. Funds will support field trips, STEM/arts activities, and outdoor learning. Provide both MTSS and year-round outdoor learning and garden care.

3. Improve School Appearance & Functionality
We will invest in capital improvements, exterior upgrades and safety upgrades. SRRF and project managers to create 5 year plan

4. Ensure Long-Term Stability
We will build reserves for the unexpected and prioritize spending that benefits students.
